January is going to need to be a big investment window for us. We need to strengthen for the next season! We also need to offload a few players!

Benkovic is only with us until the summer which means we should really look at getting in another CB if one is available, if not we'll need to wait until the summer.

We could really do with another striker to help support Griffiths and Edouard. On that front we appear to be watching Red Star Belgrade's Milan Pavkov. The 24 year old's contract expires in the summer and while his value on transfermarkt is £1.13m, a cut price deal would probably still be in excess of £2m. He was loaned out to another club last season which suggests he may not be first choice for Red Star although he has been playing fairly regularly so far this season with 3 goals in 11 appearances, including CL qualifiers. Last season on loan to Radnicki Nis, he notched 23 goals in 33 league games. However a number of those appear to have been penalties won by his team. He's a big lad, over 6ft and can hold the ball up but also agile and quick enough to get in behind a defence. His other goals mainly came from him getting on the end of crosses.....something we could really improve on!

We could potentially do with having another attacking midfielder or CM joining the ranks too.

In terms of outgoings, Callum McGregor is seemingly wanted by Brighton who are willing to pay £10m in January.....
We need to offload Dorus de Vries and free up some cash, Scott Allan needs to go, Marvin Compper is probably on high wages and needs to go, Ralston needs to play or go out on loan (he's one Rodgers really seemed to like but now can't even get close to the first team, very strange, did he not impress Rodgers at Dundee Utd last season?), Kouassi is seemingly no longer wanted so we need to offload him although how he was every supposed to sufficiently develop while not playing I'm not really sure and Kundai Benyu is still floating around and again he can't develop if he doesn't play but he's not going to get into this team so he either has to go out on loan or be sold or just get rid of him.

3 players HAVE to go. 1 needs to be loaned out, 1 needs to be loaned, sold or just released and 1 needs to be sold if we no longer want him which still seems like a strange decision given he cost us £3m and we'll be lucky to get £1m for him.
