Jan Paul van Hecke - Player Thread

We have become conditioned to thinking like Daniel Levy .

Your point is entirely the correct one , they , the Lewis’s have PROMISED to get us back to where we should be , we can’t bugger about at the first hurdle .
TFLC need to be brought kicking and screaming into the real world they inherited .

Let’s see what happens

( TFLC has become my go to for the Lewis’s , That Fucking Lewis Clan , …….and I put Ventekesham and Lange in their fold .

Do I trust them ?…….. Nope ..
Am I willing to wait ? …… Nope

They have to act in a completely different way to the way they acted when they appointed Tudor and Frank , and failed to back any of their predecessor’s .
Let's be honest, it's not like they're new owners either. They've been here the whole time

JPvH is not at all happy with the way his team has handled things. He didnt want any of this to distract from his World Cup, and now it seems it might be done after.

The distraction of their attempts to muddy waters with an idiotic non-serious move for Vuskovic is a delay, and wont stop the other deal.

Spurs are now not likely to go any higher than around 40m-ish for vanHecke, also not too entertained by the insult.

Someone mentioned it looked like they were playing games like Atletico has been re Alvarez. Both deals essentially being done with players making clear they're interested in one team.

Hard to even consider RDZ sanctioning the sale of one of the most sought after young CB's in the world, and one that literally fits his remit for the position nearly perfectly, BEFORE he gets his own eyes on the player?

No.

If the player really actually has said to anyone he'd rather play there?!?! Well then that kid's a fuken moron man.

JPVH will hopefully kick up a massive fuss when back then and go on strike.

World class is a phrase banded around too freely these days. I would take a good-top class player over a world class player if he has other attributes that help the team overlall.

OK lets put Romero in WC bracket (I dont agree). What percentage of a season do we see WC Romero on the pitch? Maybe 5/10%? He doesnt bring the team up a level when he plays. He doesnt play enough and he puts Argentina above all else. Thats no good to Spurs when he isnt performing at his best.

personally if the lad is that good then we should be playing him and not spending money on getting someone else who could have half his skill
He's inexperienced and has yet to fill-out his physical frame - playing him in the PL at his age and with the PL intensity is possible, but far far ideal - it means he has to be heavily rotated, which is not idea for his development.

It's the coaches job to look beyond the media hype and deal with the reality of what's best for his development.

The PL takes no prisoners and gives no quarter -protecting his development for another year may well be the right and proper thing to do - getting our squad/team picked because of media hype over what our sports science and coaches say, is in my mind suicidal and makes absolutely no sense.

The defence is certainly tightening up.
Will this mean the departure of Romero and possibly Draguisin
