James Garner

1) Nobody has any fans right now.
2) Our history is ancient history. Recent history would suggest Brentford are the superior club.
3) Some things are more important than money - positive environment, better chance of success, stability, located in London
4) Can you name anything you've seen that would indicate us getting our shit together?
5) More Brentford players have had successful PL moves in recent years than NFFC players.

Don't really see why anyone would come to us instead of Brentford.
1) How long is that likely to last?

2) Ancient history is still history and some players will be seduced by that.

3) Not for everyone.

4) We have hired Hughton and have seemed to listen to him so far.

5) Plenty of our ex players have gone on to have careers in the Prem including Cash most recently and soon to include Worrall and possibly McKenna if he stays fit.

Still can't really see how we'd be a more attractive proposition for a player than Brentford. Only thing possibly is if the player is from round here or further up north.

There are plenty of reasons either way in fairness so it will always depend on the individual concerned as to what is important to them.

At the end of the season there is every possibility that we will be in the same division and therefore starting level.

I think as far as James Garners concerned, he’d definitely pick Forest over Brentford. He’s getting games, playing well, scoring goals and clearly enjoying his football.

He’s experienced first hand with Watford that your face doesn’t always fit.

If you’re talking general players, I’m still convinced we’re still a more attractive proposition than Brentford. They may finish higher than us every year but still haven’t been promoted. We definitely pay more in wages and don’t forget that we have a great reputation for developing young players, something that’s gone in our favour when we’ve secured premier league loans.

The area players live is around the ground in bridgford, which is one of the nicest areas in Nottingham and it’s obviously central. Despite coming up short every year, we will and always will be a favourite for promotion with the manager we have and owners who invest.

They’ll only find out what a poor decision they’ve made and how shit we truly are half way through the season when it’s too late 😁

West London has some fairly nice areas too :p

Brentford do have a great reputation of being a stepping stone to the PL, and often a very lucrative move.

Stylistically it must be a lot more satisfying playing for them than us.

Both clubs have merits, I suspect it would be down to how well each woos.
