....on a slightly sour note, can anyone at the PFA why this award is NOT highlighted on their home page? Admin error? Total incompetence? Unbelievable really.

The award is not listed on their front page....

...nor is it listed on the page listing 'all' the awards (on the right hand side). A very strange omission and a bit of a slap in the face to young Izzy who would have every right to be annoyed given that all the other award winners are listed/highlighted :019:

In better news three of the MCWFC squad make the PFA WSL team of the year - Izzy, Lucy Bronze and Jill Scott :005:
 
I've not taken to women's football whatsoever, albeit I have tried. Anyhow, well done Izzy :091:
 
Should we be annoyed because it highlights inequality between men and women's football or is it because she plays for City?

I enjoyed watching the World Cup games but found it difficult to transfer that interest to the domestic league. Perhaps if they did away with the male version I would but since that is unlikely to happen it is doubtful that I shall watch any further Women's games for another three years.

But well done Izzy.

 
Just checked and there remains no trace of Izzy's award. Zero. Not referred to at all.

This has now seriously annoyed me & I have emailed the PFA to ask them why the Women's players' player award is not being acknowledged. :018:
 
Glad to see that lamentable, inexcusable and thoroughly unprofessional oversight has been put right.

If my email had any effect on that then it will have been a few minutes well spent. I included screenshots of the offending page so there can be no cover up! ;-)
