It's Winter

The Fear

A Wise Man (once sat next to him)
We need Skeggy's confirmation really but I feel pretty safe to say it is now officially winter.

Just also read this from a weather man dude from facebook....

Fed up with it getting dark so early? Then you’ll be delighted that it's the Winter Solstice today, marking the shortest day and longest night of the year. After the solstice, the days will begin to get longer until the hours of daylight and darkness are of equal length on the Spring Equinox, which is on March 20 in 2015.

Must admit I've been surprised how light the mornings have been this year, usually they are pitch black at 6-7ish aren't they!?

Yeah! It is the shortest day of light of the year and I am more than happy with that. Oh it is only when you get older that you appreciate one of my late Mom's many sayings, or lines:

Her main was was 'I'll be glad when it is the 21st December and we are through the shortest day of light of the year' She hated it. I used to think 'uh what' and now I flipin get it.

Hate the dark days and short light: Added to with my 2nd lad being bipolar cos it is a really bad time of year for him and indeed those others I know with bipolar even when the meds are sorted.

We have bought him, amongst other stuff one of these SAD light therapy lamps for Christmas which I hope will help him.

I've turned that video off, did you intentionally mean to make my ears bleed? :17:

Indeed it is, near enough. Obviously technically it's not winter until 23:30hrs but what's a few hours between friends.

There you go folks, we are within spitting distance* of winter, the Vital bringer of seasons has confirmed.

*health and safety warning, spitting isn't to be encouraged.

I've got all hot, itching prickly heat, so got my heating off and window open.

Winter? Pah!!!!
