It's War.

At least, at the moment, our role is an small one and only gets actioned if the commander in chief, US leading, calls on our resources.

It's a mind fuck this one, ISIS need to be stopped in their tracks, a lot of Muslims have also said so and are upset this is being done in the name of Allah.

However, we created this power vacuum, I'm furious that is the case, it was so unbelievably obvious what needed doing at the end of he second war but the fooking politicians as usual didn't deliver.

Is this a good idea? Gulp. I'm not sure how indiscriminate air strikes can be.

However st least this is by the invitation of Iraq and not an illegal war as championed by devils Bush and Blair amongst other idiots.

If these, why not Syria? If Syria, why not Some of the warning African nations?

Oil again one can't help but suspect.

Do we now stop these extremists or fuel the fire for more hatred towards the west and create more extremists? Sadly only history will tell us.

I would have thought this was one the Arab nations needed to come together with and sort, they could have been helped by the West but they should lead it, it is meant to be their zone/problem.

Fingers and everyone else crossed and especially to the pawns, ie the brave troops, who do the politicians bidding.

There is pictures of so called ''ISIS'' terror cells claiming to be in our countries already awaiting orders to strike, there is one with the picture of the white house with a ISIS flag showing us all they amover here already, New York and France they claim hey will strike first but i do worry how this could play out,

Oh and we will have troops back on the ground over there no doubt, knew this was coming, it's like wtahing a predictable script play out ay it, but luv'd seeing George Galloway in the House of Commons today say that Bush and Blair created this mess and the entangled web of terror we all suffer today, how true.

Troops being on the ground Clive, would have to go through parliament and I can't see that happening, after the last time. I think our role will be much smaller this time and it needs to be.

I think there would still have been some sort of mess in he Middle East to sort also Clive.

People forget that 9/11 came 1st and this was the payback all be on ground where there is oil, I do agree. Bush junior wanted to avenge for Bush senior too

Regarding Syria a no to air strikes was taking on that some time ago. That may have to be re-evaluated. Though there are other countries in then they can do Syria.

I think this is just the beggining of a massive war as how can you beat an army that will be blending in with the civilians like in Iraq in the past, ISIS will not stand there and be bombed to fook, they will do what the Taliban and Al Queeda did in Iraq and attack our troops on the sly, so no matter how many planes we have bombing it won't beat them and they know it, just my opinion like but sooner or later we will have troops over there imho.

The enemy within. Again blame the idiotic government.

Extremist muslims have infiltrated every country. I wouldnt be surprised if this is the start of a civil war.

Couldn't agree more. We let the rubbish in, now it's payback time. I can't see the British National Party standing idle with this happening either......

It had everything to do with the latter sentence and nothing to do with the former. Not one of the New York or other terrorists that day in 2001 were from Iraq or even based there and until we invaded there was no Al Qaeda activity or base in the country, Sadam's brutal regime saw to that. We created the terrorist problems in Iraq by invading a (technically) peaceful country and removing it's admittedly oppressive leader who had pretty good control of the situation. A leader that "The West" more or less put into place, might I add.

Peaceful country that did not let women dance or play music or enjoy themselves. Yeah what a great country that was. It was terrible under sadam hussain and it is terrible now. Doesnt matter who is in charge the iraqi, pakistani counties will always be a breeding ground for terrorism.

The only mistake the 'evil west' made was to let so many of these people in to live and populate in our country!. If you are so anti west why not go live in an eastern country yourself? Is that racist? Nope... all it is is that i dont want anyone i love blown up in a terrorist attack by some 'english' radical.

The fact of the matter is, we cannot change history. We can all look back at it and point out where the mistakes were made, history is full of mistakes, but we are where we are.

So now we must aim to correct the results of these mistakes before it is too late.

Whats the other answer ffs. Let isis run riot and behead another 100 innocent journos. They need wiping out. There is no other way. What you going to do? Send some social workers out there and educate them? Come on man. We have the backing of the iraq government. This is not a war like before. This is backing the rest of the world up to destroy a vermin cell. Doesnt matter if we bomb or not terror cells will carry on being anti west so lets get rid of as many of these scum bags as possible.

Yeah we do have the backing of the Arab League the countries that surround Iraq even Iran am allowing as we speak USA Aircraft Carriers into their waters to fly from to bomb the ISIS in Iraq now that's aturn of events i never thought i would hear lol, but such is the threat if ISIS everybody knows we will be in there soon enough to eradicate them, i just feel sorry for our troops tbh, these am horribe dirty war's not the old war's in history where you knew where your enemy was, now they blend in with civilian's and attack on the sly.

We have the backing, but as I said, we should be backing them, they should be going in, it is their region.

If the air strikes start to kill more innocent people, we end up fuelling the fire of hatred.

This should at the very least be joint forces including the Arab nations.

Something needs doing, not sure if we can stamp them out, in my very best idealistic mood I hope we can, some are saying they aren't actually that big in numbers.

Trouble with air strikes is these evil freaks will just move I to more populated areas.

Fascinating times but as said, I do wish the Arab States were taking the leading role.

Humanity is very stupid, this could all be sorted, but we are a warning species and always have be. Does this mean we always will be? I would think so.

Well I'm no fan of the man but George Galloway makes some valid points in this clip.

I Luv Georgey Galloway Wurz dude, he speaks the truth on who is to blame for this mess in the middle east where other politicians am too scared to say so,

Fear dude yam right (i know i know as always) we should have an Arab League of Nations over in the middle east to sort out their part of the world, but we in the West won't allow them to build up a military national state defence unless we was in full control but even then we would be scared of them becoming too powerful etc, i luv the USA people i luv our Britishness but we in the west have allowed the elite that rule us to treat people like animals imo, the East has always been barbaric BUT Saddam ruled with an iron fist yes he was evil yes he was a murderer yes etc etc BUT look at the strate of the country now, there is no more IRAQ, sometimes better the devil you know?
