Finally the great conspiracy is revealed. Bigger than the cover up over who shot JFK. Larger than the mystery of where Jimmy Hoffa's body is hidden. More enormous than the location of Shergar. Even more ginormous than the faking of the moon landings (which I don't believe btw)..........bigger than Big Ben apparently.
Everyone inovolved in football is conspiring against Chelsea according to their patient, kind, non- manipulative, utterly non-machieavellian manager Jose Moaninho.
Here is the list so far:
Ball boys (from previous pronouciations)
People
Pundits
You (specifically the guy interviewing him after yesterday's draw v S'ton)
Commentators
Coaches from other teams
The fact that he omitted officials, the PL and the FA is less of an oversight and more of the proof that this arch hypocrite was being very calculated in what he said. In doing so he has avoided a charge and touchline ban. That was quite deliberate. What goes on in his head between the conclusion of a game and what he says in the pm interviews astounds me. He comes up with some real good 'uns ispn short order.
True to form the media have fallen for it hook, line and sinker and delivered the headlines he wanted. His claim was that all the people listed above influence referees to make decisions against his team. He cited recent events involving Ivanovic and Cahill as 'non incidents' and part of the overall 'campaign' to deny his ultra virtuous players their destiny.
Sadly he had a point in that the officials got the decision wrong yesterday in respect of the penalty not given for his side. But his clear intention in making this outrageous claim is to achieve exactly the impact that he is claiming is already on officials - he wants them to think twice before NOT giving decisions in his team's favour.
Another reason why I cannot abide this utter twat of a man.
His reaction is in stark contrast to that of Pellegrini after the decision in our recent match against, ironically, the same opponents Southampton where Aguero was clearly fouled by Fonte in the penalty area but no spot kick was awarded and Aguero received a booking. Calm, measured and decent. Three adjectives which can never be applied to Moaninho. I know who I would prefer as City's manager and it isn't the Portuguese berk.
However the fact both these decisions were given in favour of the same team at key points in the game against two of the teams challenging for the title this seasonis a bit strange (queue spooky music from The Twilight Zone.......) :148:
