It's Never Dull

My biggest concern with this "development " (apart from the Club closing) is that any takeover drags on past the end of the season, and thereby makes any planning or recruitment for next season impossible.
Resolution of ownership must come before the last game of the season IMO.

First of all it's very depressing that social media has made it acceptable to post abuse online. Secondly, who are these supporters whose sense of entitlement makes them feel that other people 'ought' to pour endless money into their club to promote its welfare? What makes it frightening is that both these groups of people have the vote. They can't work things out at the most basic level and yet they have the power to band together land us all with s*** governments.
 
On Pools official website that agreement with Errea for kit supply comes to an end at season end. Nothing of excitement in that, of itself, but article does go on to imply that a new kit supplier has been lined up. Perhaps this is a clue (hope) that new owners are imminent and they are working towards being ready for next season?
Or am I adding 2 + 2 and arriving at 22?
 
Is the silence, not even a rumour, about the potential takeover a good thing?
Or does it signify that literally nothing is happening, and the home game against FGR will prove to be a swansong?
 
It's now a week since the season finale, and we await any comments from the Interim Board. I appreciate negotiations can be sensitive but, just a statement to say the things are ongoing would be a positive!
I'm also conscious that negotiations can be protracted or fail to deliver (see Gateshead).
Pools do seem to be continuing with day to day operations, but I'd guess major decisions on players and pitch investment is presumably on hold.

Raj is still paying essential bills so we aren't going to go bust for the time being. There are interested parties out there but we need to sort out the time wasters and that takes due diligence and time.

Raj is implying, by the lack of meeting deposit fund deadlines, that the group/groups or individuals are merely ‘tyre kickers’. He has stated he has a sticking plaster ready for the haemorrhaging, if season ticket holders as him nicely.
He has previous, knows how to cope with it, will save himself & live to fight another day, however should he be allowed near a third football club to continue a reign of terror, due diligence suggests not.

I'm guessing we all have our own perspective on the current events at Victoria Park. However, as long standing Pools supporters we will all of seen periods of upheaval and uncertainty, too many times, in the past.
For me the misguided and ill informed fans who believe that there will be a queue of "White Knights " down Clarence Rd with bulging bags of gold vying to oust Mr Singh are in fact a large part of the problem.
Pools are a small club, with a limited turnover nestling in an unfashionable corner of the NE of England, with a loyal but fractious fanbase!
There are several clubs similar to Pools seeking investors/ new owners; many of whom have had their own "tyre kickers", and failing to find a "White Knight" to take them forward. So for now, whether we like it or not, Pools only hope is that Mr Singh can be persuaded to continue with his financial support.

A final thought, those who pontificate about a "phoenix club" are delusional; Pools supporters by their very nature disagree over everything, hence a rebirth would NEVER happen! IMO
 
Things seem to be moving on a pace today, 22 May, but at the same time becoming more bizarre!
Jeff Stelling resigning, Raj asking season ticket holders to vote for his continued support, all without any sign of would be new owners coming up with a statement or necessary finance.

I fear there is only one way this is going to end!
Should I put the lights out, or would you like the honour, Billy2?
 
What can you say? There's no way at all to decide which way to vote. For or against Raj Singh's continued 'support'? Hmm. I understand that the negotiations behind the scenes have to be confidential, but there could be an independent assessor(s) who could be given access to the process, and who could report on the absence or otherwise of bad faith. Without this, I would vote against. Apart from anything else I resent any sort of ultimatum.
