It's been great running this Site...

Why is that? The site is positively boomimg at the moment and you do a great job!

The 'problem' with Vitals is I think, and Jules will correct me, is that you have to publish 'x' amount of articles a day/week/month so in that respect it takes a lot of running whereas the forum just runs itself.

Given the success of this site in the vitals stable (look how many vitals sites are just placeholders) I would have thought they would bend over backwards to make it work for Jules. He's the guy who has kept it together through some tough situations and put it on a far more professionally facing footing, if anyone deserves some leeway from Vitals HQ it's Jules..

We'd hate to see you step down Jules, the site wouldn't be what it is without you. Is there any way the members could make things easier for you?

Will be gutted if you decide not to continue Jules. The Vitals website has always kept me in touch with the Imps and everything going on at the club, and is better than any of the others, in my opinion. It has made me some new friends recently that I met up with, both here in Australia and for the Wembley visit. No coincidence that the site hit the top of the Vitals 'league' from when you got involved. You have demonstrated a great imagination with thread subjects (& inspiring other contributors) and have driven its success. I recognise that devoting an enormous amount of time and energy to the site takes its toll and, as with anything with such devotion and motivation, there comes a time when you maybe question that level of involvement, which detracts form your time to do other things, particularly if your efforts are sometimes met with apathy. Sorry we didn't get to meet up before Wembley as I was looking forward to the outside chance of that. Hope you decide to stay involved, albeit it to a lesser extent, but a massive thanks for all your efforts over the last few years. Best wishes in whatever you decide to do and in following the Imps in our continued future successes. UTI ??

Just like the RT honourable Notty Imp I've also been around on LCFC sites for 20 odd years. There have been a few believe me. And this is one of the best. So well done Jules. But I can understand why you might think it's time to call it a day. I'm sure you will make the right descsion.

And s belated thanks for getting me the ticket for the City v Bristol Rovers playoff semi final all those years ago .

Enjoy your retirement if you decide to go

To those whose response is merely 'why ?', well I have no idea what is in Jules thinking, and I don't expect him to go into that, and why should he ?
But I will say this, I took on a much smaller site than this, and not about anything as contentious as a football club, but the sheer amount of time and hassle ground me down in much less time than Jules has run this. As contributors we just have to worry about what we post, the man in charge has to look after the whole kit and caboodle. And frankly, I wouldn't do it again.
You are, and have been since you took it on, a star. Thanks for all your effort, and for all the money you have unselfishly raised for the club. Whatever you decide, well done !

Jules, as above, many thanks for your hard work and I hope we continue to benefit from it for a while yet. But if you decide to stand down, good luck and see you on the terraces!

I to hope you reconsider if your decision is final! Great site as shown by the stats and i consider Vitals and Stacey West essential daily reading.

PLEASE KEEP GOING JULES!

Ooh Jules..this is more than daily reading for me....it wouldn't be the same I'm sure without you leading it. I know I don't post much but I read everything that is posted. Now I am retired it is very easy to just click on to here and satisfy myself that I haven't missed anything to do with the Imps! Best wishes in whatever you decide to do.
