'It is what it is' Match Thread: Nottm Forest Vs Our Own mentality, Sponsored by 5 years of shit

How about a scenario where us and Blackburn lose but we lose more heavily. Catastrophizing, with Blackburn winning 1-0 we concede a third in injury time. Or again with Blackburn up 1-0 we are losing 3-0 but get a penalty in the 95th minute......and miss it.

Dark thoughts...........

I feel fairly certain that if we go down it will be in frustration at failing to score a goal, most likely drawing rather than through conceding too many.

I can easily imagine long periods of desperately knocking on the door while the Ipswich box is filled with their players

Yes in fairness that is probably more likely but we do have that utter capitulation in us - a mad ten minutes where we let in 2 or 3 wouldn't be inconceivable. Think play offs...

Brentford much more likely to save us than we are. Just want it over with now whatever happens, car crash season and then some.

I certainly wouldn't want to be facing Vibe and Jota again

Vibe and Jota are most likely our best hope of relegation safety. Blackburn have to go for it at some stage and will try to play cagey till the hour. Hopefully Brentford will pick them off like they did to us at home as we went on the attack . They are lightening on the break but hopefully we can be two or three up at half time . Let's hope Andy Reid is there with his young lad tomorrow. Off to bed now up at seven thirty to walk the dog have breakfast, have a prayer and onto the city ground to cheer them on for 90+ minutes COYR . It'll be buzzing when mull of kintyre comes on .You Redssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An early goal has never been more crucial. The players will be up for it I'm sure but the longer the game remains goalless the players will pick up the tension from the crowd. Score in the first 15/20 mins and it could give us a bit of composure and lay the platform for a relatively comfortable win. I'm predicting a 2-0 /3-1 win to the reds.

Laid with a coffee not even out of bed yet and $hitting myself already. Going to be a long day.

Feel for whichever set of fans get the wrong end of this today.

All I have is hope- head says down, heart hopes not.

We have been let down all season, be nice if we weren't just for today.

I'm the same.

I've thought about nothing but league 1 all week. The idea if us being in the Championship next season has never occurred to me.

Yet my heart still wont accept it and thinks it will be ok

not sure i can handle today. up before 6.

have a bad feeling

For goodness sake don't look at the teams we'll be playing if we go down. It's depressing.

Loads of bogey teams like Walsall and Oldham
