Is Vydra on his way out?

Today's Telegraph has a report penned by John Percy this morning on Vydra and other players. He mentions an £8M fee for Vydra. Ridiculously low IMO.

We know that MM wants to reduce the wage bill as he has said so. In the article Rowett is quoted as saying (paraphrased) that after years of managers spending willy nilly, he is the one now having to balance the books.

I think we are still OK with regard to FFP and that this move is more down to MM not wanting to throw "good money after bad" than any FFP danger. I may be wrong but that is my take on it.

The piece contains, however, caveats such as "it is understood", "there could be interest in" and "Derby could also listen to" so Percy has taken some fact and extrapolated it to make a story which may or may not prove to be true. As ever, it is a piece of crystal ball gazing based on some fact. We shall see how close to the truth JP is........ or how far from. What is sure, is that this will be read by fans and then be the subject of great discussion in fora and on general social media such as InstaFaceTwit.

The players mentioned as possible exiteers (new word) are Carson, Keogh, Martin and Anya.

Wouldn’t want to lose Carson or Keogh and where’s the sense in giving the latter a new contract three months ago to offload him now?
Martin doesn’t fit but who’ll match his wages after three indifferent seasons?
Anya I rate and he’s versatile but if the rumours about his self negotiated contract really do make him too expensive to pick then he’s no use to us.

Butterfield. I have it from a semi reliable source that the swap including Winnall was always intended to become permanent this summer provided both players were fit. Winnall is to undergo some stringent tests to discover the chances of his fully recovering. A positive signal from the specialist will see the deal sealed.

That would be a good deal IMO - then keogh, Forsyth, nugent, Anya
et al can follow him out the door.

Just can't see much hope for next season, other clubs seem to get it right we are consistently the nearly boys.
