Is this it?

Wunt bank on it but one way or another it needs to be put to bed. The strange thing if it is true was that only yesterday it was being reported by ex pat DPS that...

"Blades have drawn down early on the £5m instalment due next summer from Newcastle for Osula. Only a short term borrow, less than a year, so should give a bit of a fighting fund to help Chris in January while not incurring too much interest".

Does that mean the new owners are also skint or is one of the stories rhubarb?

Lets see him holding up a shirt in the Directors Box...

I confess, I think this has got 'frying pan to fire' written all over it.

I’m not going to hold my breath and I’m with FKB on this doesn’t sound like they’ve got a pot to piss in

Promotion by winning through the play offs at Wembley would be a first! As would be a first for us actually winning at Wembley in our lifetimes! Much longer will deffo be too late for me!

There is no way any consortium or buyer would go to this amount of effort if they are not going to make some initial investment. I agree with Chronic it could be enough to give us that extra push and bit more quality in January. If that gets us promoted then it will be way better than what we have now.
Also if the Prince stays in charge there will be a fire sale before the start of next season, if we do not get promoted (or knowing him even if we do get promoted).
All these rich yanks love to jump on a band wagon. If we did get promoted there will be more interest and investors to join the consortium.

IF it happens the only positive depends on getting promoted……. anything else and we will be fc uk ed.
Hopefully we'll know more about their financial wherewithal soon, but the sound bytes so far (including the alleged £5m loan this weekend) seems to point to us being out of the frying pan into another frying pan as best. That's not to say that the new owners haven't got better plans than the prince could muster to cover the eventuality of us not going up, but right now another promotion seems to be vital. Hopefully Wilder will be able to tweak the team in January and IF we got promotion, these guys can do what the prince never managed and get more final clout onboard to help us try to compete.

That of course all depends on IF this story isn't just another load of bullshit
