Is this a good time to look poor

Just before the window opens again.
I am trying to be positive but it's hard at the moment :doh!:
We are short of players in important positions as these injuries show
Centre back
Centreforward
Full back
Creative midfield
Leader
I agree with JB about Delph for captain
Swap Ya Ya for Canavani
isco
Bony plus money for Stones

:blah!: I won't go on

What a shite Saturday.

In-form Borussia Mönchengladbach struck three times in 14 minutes in the second half to floor Bayern Munich 3-1 and inflict the champions’ first Bundesliga defeat of the season.

Getting some really bad feedback from Blues returning from the game which suggest deep trouble.
Some people coming in for stinging criticism. Fernando top of the pile for just walking off and sitting down, no signal to bench, no calls to physio, just walked off. No preparedness to even stand up as an obstacle.
I mentioned on the MDT that Toure gave an interview to France Football recently and voiced his concern about Bony. He called out his lifestyle and how he is risking throwing his career away. Blues at the game said he was gasping.
What else?
MDM finished at this level with questions about why Denayer was loaned out.
Sterling AWOL again, but above all else the manager in total confusion mode and calls for his immediate sacking before we get more of these days.
Suggestions he has lost dressing room or is unable to motivate backed up by through 4 mass walk bys of the City fans in that corner only Hart acknowledged the fans thanks after only himself and 2 others said thankyou in Turin.
I am very concerned. Borussia playing fantastic football right now.

There are some ominous signs.

Anyone else notice that when the subs were being readied there as a hint that Demichelis might be going off......well **ck me if he didn't look almost too keen to get off the park, at the slightest hint it was him he positively began to sprint of until the confusion was sorted.

The was a desperate lack of any sort of cohesion and a spinelessness which was deeply disturbing.

Fernando - disgraceful.

Bony - I think he has given up, knowing he can do nothing to dislodge Sergio he has decided to sit on his contract and do as little as possible. Outrageously poor today.

Pellegrini's demeanour when we were two nil down was almost resigned - as if he knew he couldn't motivate them. Makes you wonder if the fresh Guardiola speculation has seriously undermined his position and some of the players don't give a flying **ck. Blanking the fans is a classic sign that they don't care.

Crikey, this is very worrying. Now I'm even more depressed than I was before.
Sort it Mr. P. Before it becomes a full-blown crisis.

Why is it that he seemingly can motivate these players for some games and not for others? We're becoming a real Jekyll and Hyde side.

It is bizarre. The performances against Southampton and Juventus seemed entirely different to the pathetic Liverpool game. And now this. I don't expect ranting and rending of garments on the touchline but he was very passive and there was a distinct absence of leadership on the park

It worries me that people are talking about player power and
Manager losing the dressing room.
There was even talk they threw the Fa cup final against Wigan to
Get rid of Bobby Manc.
Who runs our Club :wow:

It's more than likely just hyperbole when emotions are raw following a chastening defeat.

The more i think about what Rising said in the MDT about our performances before CL games the more I think that she's right.

All of our performances in games before CL midweek have been poor with the exception of Bournemouth. When you consider that and then consider how we can get ourselves mentally right for opposition like Hull then it starts to look like more than just a coincidence.

It feels like Pellers is a dead man walking. Maybe we should put him out of his misery, and try to salvage something from the season.

A bit ott dont you think Bama? We're just 3 points of the top of the league, semi finals of League Cup and knockout stages in CL.

If the plan is Pep in the summer then who could we get for the interim if Pellegrini was given his marching orders?

Some of the performances recently are nowhere near good enough but does that mean we need to take extreme measures?

I don't think the club will do anything before the summer either.
The impression I have is that Mr. P. has been instructed to prioritise the CL over the PL, hence the poor showings in the PL prior to each CL game (Bournemouth excepted).
For me, the PL is the be-all and and end-all.
The Champions League seedings are too geared and weighted towards the old elite at the moment and I can't see that changing in the future so I can't get excited about it.

I think you are correct Rising about the relative weighting of the Champions League compared to the PL. I think the owners had made this their priority. Not saying they expect to win it this season but I believe they expect progress and that means quarter finals or better.

I also believe that the majority of City fans, especially those of us long in the tooth starved of domestic success for so long, would also enjoy a sustained period of domestic dominance but sadly the only way in which to improve the CL coefficient is to progress further in the competition. The best way would have been to win the PL last season to take advantage of the rule change which delivered the domestic chanpions into pot 1. So it's a real conundrum - progress in Europe but not at the expense of domestic success......

Who'd be a manager? :give-up:
