Is Pellegrini a 'dead man' walking?

Based on today's performance do you think Manuel Pellegrini is a 'dead man' walking? It's been playing on my mind since a Chelsea fan posted a comment on the very subject on a front page article.

The players didn't seem 'up for it' and the crowd seemed quiet.

Its going to be a long 'end of season' if the players don't 'buck up'.
 
You can't blame Pellers for that performance, you can blame him for team selection, but the players should take the blame.
 
Forgot to say, yes Pellers in terms of Manchester City, is a dead man walking, I think any one who knows that their job is coming to an end, no matter how much you say you are focused, there is some part of you that is just not in your job.

I think that depends on the individual Buzz, for example I believe Heynckes stayed focussed to the end and dare I say it the pisscan with Stretford.
 
Quite right BD, I am not saying Pellers will do it deliberately but subconsciously part of the light goes out. I think Yaya is suffering the same thing and needs 'resting'
 
He is by default but as for the players? Who out of today's line up would be feel safe come the revolution? Hart, Aguero, Sterling? Who else?
 
We have that in another thread RG, but spot on. If you look for the mass exodus thread and running specubollox I don think many will still be in a shirt in two years time
 
come on get rid of this Pelligrini Clown soon..once you lose the CL games you are out pelligrini.. even before Pep arrives.
 
Why is he a clown NS? He set us up well today, he had the team well motivated, he responded with the right move when Clattenburg robbed us. I don't get what else you would expect from him today.

Makes you wonder...Check his CV's and all his past (allegedly). How much to put a dodgy penalty in.
How many underhanded deals are going on? World cup dealings? Etc.
Most of think this couldn't happen...but it has.

Benefit of the doubt used to go to the defence (penalties)...not with this guy (allegedly)...Dont have much money to pay!

@Bluedub_ I'm not against him,but he did everything right yesterday except not winning and losing all the three points. Penalty may be due to wrong ref decision then what about second goal which cost us three points.

I hope ppl will say it was due to counter attack but this was the case the whole season.we forgot how to come back from losing position.At the current form we are going nowhere.Losing home games nowhere going to help CL dreams and leaking goals is a concern whole season.

Our records against top six is poor.We look so vulnerable at back and teams are more confident these days even in our home fixtures.

Manager has the responsibility to address all these concerns.At the current rate I expect arsenal to take all six points from us. Pellegrini doesn't have that much time to change the current scenario.This season we faced ignominious defeats at the hands of Liverpool ,spurs, Leicester, arsenal and west ham....

if we say opponents are great this season then we should give up title dreams considering how poorly we performed against top teams.We are branded as mid table beaters with the amount of money spent.

All these concerns are genuine and I hope manger will turn things but its too late now. he is just making things even worse.Results only matters atlast .
 
What exactly could he do about the second goal NS? Unless he's actually out there there's nothing he could've done.
