Is it curtains for Bonner?

Feel for Bonner, but he is like my mates down the pub, they talk and talk and talk and then put them in charge of a team and they will be the same as him. Obviously he is knowledgeable but I think he is so out of his depth. His back room staff none of which have played professionally and now Joe is on the super computer trying his luck to find players. I know wenger never played professionally but our entire team, minus Hess have never played the game, and yes they have contacts but whatever they are trying to install in the players, they don’t give a flying fcuk. Really is a shame the realise clause wasn’t met for Lindsey
The players have no desire and the ones who have outlived the last few managers should all be binned asap and then try to build a new culture.
Anyway moan over, and we will be unbeaten for 10 games and I will be saying who needs to play professionally and Joe is a genius on the computer.

" PARKLIFE! "

There are not many. I think Ehmer is the only player who was already at the club when Harris arrived and is still here. Robbie McKenzie subsequently rejoined

Apart from the keepers, all the rest have come in since the Galinsons arrived and set up the recruitment team.

Just dread what it will be like Saturday at 90 minutes if we loose yet again, atmosphere if there is any of course will be interesting.
Bonner has tried literally everything to get this rabble playing, nothing works, just not interested.effort from bulk is zero, sorry McKenzie your exempt.and Little.
Watching last night it looked like they were out for a Sunday stroll in the park.
Not mentioning names but some are past sell by date, rest need long hard look in mirror and leave.
Bonner has tried everything Ian, apart from one thing - playing a settled team.

Granted, Bonner had an injury nightmare in the first 6 weeks of the season as others have justifiably mentioned and questioned. So in essence the team picked itself and as such performed well.
The 10 man victories at home to Chesterfield and Tranmere were an example of commitment and workmate.

The problems seem to have started when the higher rated players returned from injury and breezed back into the team without earning their place.
Carts being upset methinks.

Additionally there has been no continuity. We beat Port Vale at home and then go on to beat Stevenage away in what I think was the best performance in the last few games. It wasn't perfect but it was a template to settle the team and build from there.

What did Bonner do for the home game with Harrogate? Go and change it.
He dropped Andrews, Gdobe, Nolan, J Williams, Clarke and we all know what happened next.

I can't excuse the players lack of effort but it seems to me that Bonner is creating a lot of the chaos for himself.

The higher rater players breezed back into the team before they were ready generally due to injuries to players that had started in their place. Injuries have played a bit part in our downfall but it's clearly not the only issue.

In today’s press conference Bonner has said we have some soft and spoilt players and some of them inside the dressing room have been questioning others on if they care enough.

If this is the case Bonner needs to bomb those individuals from the squad as they are not only conning supporters but will ultimately cost him his job. If we turn up Saturday and 3 or 4 kids are in the starting eleven I don’t think too many fans would complain.
Could be easier said than done. There may not be much January interest in them from elsewhere if they're some of our higher earners. (Presumably that's why no one came in for Lapslie and Hawkins when they were made available.) And we don't have many options in the interim, with a few injuries and a couple of the youngsters out on loan.

I think there are six players we could certainly do without, but I suspect most of those will still be here at the end of the season and that limits the options for both Bonner and the recruitment team unless Brad and Shannon are prepared to increase the wage bill again.

They might not be able to increase the wage bill anymore remember there are regulations in that regard.
I can see us going after a non league or reserve top scoring forward but he will be young and keen not experienced. That will of course need a few .That will of course up the wage bill a bit but I would guess he might replace Wakeling.Other than that I think it might be mainly loan players replacing any players we manage to persuade to depart .This will of course allow a rebuild in the summer.
I still think Bonner's likely to go soon .I really can't see anything saving him .At which point or when the new man arrives perhaps certain players will be told they are no longer wanted.

Chris, under SCMP we can increase the available wage bill if the owners want to inject more cash, as funds introduced as equity, not loans, count towards income.
Unlikely I agree, and I wouldn’t be throwing more cash at it if I were Brad and Shannon at the moment, but we are not necessarily hamstrung by the rules.

I suppose it is possible that we could yet see more investment. Perhaps pigs might fly and Scally agrees to sell his shares that is the only way I see your cash arriving.Otherwise why give Scally the benefit ?
It is probably not a good time to broker a deal at present where is Fisher when we need him?

Fish was on the View from the Medway Podcast last night, available to watch on YouTube.
Interesting was his view that we should change the manager now.

Review of the Bromley match and preview for Salford featuring Fish and 3 others.
Confusingly called the Monday Assessment even though it was broadcast yesterday.

First, Scally selling his shares does result in extra cash for the club.

Second, nobody in their right mind would want to buy a minority stake in any club.

With your way of looking at things nobody would want to sponsor a lower league club?
From Brad and Shannon's view another supporter would bring a fair bit to the table.
I would agree nobody who wasn't a Gills fan would be interested but a long standing fan with some spare cash might want to invest ?
I would imagine the Galinson's were thinking at first that having Scally with a small but significant share holding would keep him interested and helpful to them.He clearly wasn't.
Jackett wasn't able to fill the gap.Comper might be enough but at times it must be difficult for him.Given the chairman's lack of knowledge and having no other person to talk to about decisions.
The Galinson's could simply create more shares and dilute Scally's share holding. So Scally can't really block it .

No it doesn’t. Just a transaction between two individuals, the club won’t benefit on that front at all.
No not the transaction itself. But anyone investing would be hopefully want to get involved and input into the club .
