Is Bales dream move coming to an end??

Madrid fans are really on his back right now. He was booed again against deportivo. All this started when he didn't pass the ball to ronaldo when they were 3 up against espanyol.

Graham hunter said this:

“Last season Bale was tracking back, making four men in midfield, winning more challenges and this season there has been a decline in the amount of ‘blue collar’ tracking and tackling he does.

“When the rest of the team is low on confidence and a few key players are missing, that doesn’t go unnoticed.”

I read that fifty-four per cent of Real fans say they would be happy to see the ex-Tottenham man leave at the right price.

They thought modric was a waste of space and he turned them a round, I hope bale gets them back on side.

If bale comes back he will be at chavs, citeh or utd. It would make me sick watching him play for any of them.

Would love for him to come back here, but it won't happen. He will cost to much, and Bale will want CL.

To be honest, they have marketed themselves as the big club with history and money for long enough. They are now nothing more than a social media plaything, capable of buying extraordinary contracts and paying football players ridiculous wages, on behalf of a myth.

A spectator's curiousity. A vacuous concept, akin to Madrid Zoo.

The sooner players and their agents realize that Madrid is a vacuum in a career, the better.
To say that one has played there, is now like mentioning the fact 'I chose brown bread over white, at the Spar, this morn'.

Bale would be far better off away from being paid by the Spanish government.

Well, there're my two cents!

And by the way, ANY club that thinks Modric is a "waste of space", needs evaluating. Nonsense!

There fans have been spoilt for a long time. They must have forgotten what bale did for them last season.

They are showing the classic way of being ' fickle'! keep at it Gareth ....

The trouble is they took a beating from Athletico - again. When you consider what RM have spent and what their annual budget is compared to Athletico's the Madrista's expect nothing less than total dominance of their city rival...

So, they pick out players to have a go at and are now also screaming for Ancelloti's head on a platter...as for Modders, it's noticeable that their turn-down in form has come after he's been out injured...

Bale is stuck out on the right and isn't being given the freedom to roam the way Ronaldo is and that was always going to be fine in his first season, but you can palpably see him getting the hump being isolated for such long periods as teh rest of the RM team still look for Ronaldo first, Benzema second and Bale somewhere after that...

This and next season and I suspect the plan is to sell Ronaldo, the Bale will be the natural to step up to fill the void..

I'd hate seeing him back here, because you can guarantee that would be at the manure/city or worst still, the chav's..

Not sure about him going to the chavs. They already have Hazard on the left, who IMO is a superior player, and have just forked out for Cuadrado on the right.

City don't really suit his direct style as they are far more technical. Look at Navas for example who is a bit part but very capable pacey winger.

UTD though... If you look at how LVG has set up with the two wing backs given license to attack at will, he'd be a huge upgrade on Ashley Young and the perfect fit for the team. They've also got an obscene amount of money to spend this summer if you believe what the papers say. My money would be on him going there if anywhere

With Levy being the "master" deal maker he believes he is, there will surely be a clause in Bale's contract
prohibiting a sale to another epl club.

and yet Bale was the best player against Deportivo. ridiculous fans. didn;t he get a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win the previous game. pampered fuck heads that don't know what they have over there. I hope a nasty FFP breach is discovered at Madrid.

Well, like Barca were found guilty and banned from the transfer market, RM could be facing the same, they're being investigated for almost exactly the same breaches of the youth transfer rules.

regardless of the supposed good relationship between Bale and Ronaldo, it was always likely that the two would clash in terms of one inhibiting the others football and as a footballing God, you just know that Bale was the likely fall guy

The Spanish hegemony over football is about to come crashing to the ground. Naff 'em. They deserve it. The Armada burns again.

If I was to comment honestly on La Liga and the lower leagues, I'd say there were major problems but it will be sorted out gradually.

Still a great league to watch. Pity it's all down to two teams nowadays.
As we all know by now, if only it was more evenly spread it'd be less of a two horse race.
But in every league, there are one/two big money teams, who coast by in a much easier capacity. because of their worldwide appeal.
FFP rules remain a big fat joke.

Modric gets a huge ovation on his comeback from injury. He is a great player. Bale is still having a rough time. Getting jeered for losing the ball. Good game though, if madrid get knocked out then bale will be getting the focus just because he is the scapegoat.

Bale played crap tonight.

Madrid have played crap since Modric was injured. Immediate impact when he came on.

Still, it's just a great great thing when Madrid get beaten!

Yep you've summed it up well, but I'd go further; as the commentator said ever since the break they've looked very poor in midfield and wide open defensively (injuries?)...for whatever reasons they've completely gone off the boil and they look like a bunch of disconnected individual players at the moment, whereas just a couple of months ago they looked like a real powerhouse of a team..

equally I wonder if opposing teams have partly worked them out, as well as them having several injured and others under performing?

As great players they are, Modric and Kroos always worried me slightly in that neither is renowned for their defensive work, whilst in also playing four out and out attacking players, you are always vulnerable to getting caught out. seeing how well Athletico usually play against them and counter their strengths with a physical pressing game, may well have forced Real into needing a Plan B, that they haven't yet looked at.

Modric was the only reason they held on last night he came on and immediately brought cohesion. The problem is they do not defend or attack as a team. If you do both against them you will hurt them. Madrid do not work for each other and when the handful of players they have who do ( Modric, Ramos) are out they fall apart. Oh and they have a goal keeper who is now ready for league one. Bale breaks your heart (if you forgive how he left). Out of form cowed by Ronaldo and going backwards fast, I said it was a move that was not the smart one for-think I called him Ronaldo's new butler- point was he joined a personality cult. Same at Barca and Messi. He should have joined a team Bayern City or United would have been better. I wish Levy would call him and tell him come home and join the "new ambitious Spurs". With financing and sponsors help we could make the cash work.
