Iraq's Only Vicar Warns Christianity's End 'Very Near' Following Isis 'Convert or Be Killed' Order

HeathfieldRoad1874 - 8/8/2014 23:33

I can see the US's reluctance in this. It hasn't exactly gone well for them interfering in the Middle East. However, enough is enough, and there needs to be an appropriate response.

On a side note, how well received will the 1,000s of Iraqi Christians be here? It's only fair we offer them a home.

Just wondering why it should be 'us' that offers them a home? I didn't know we were responsible for them.

Mind you, if we did, I'd prefer a swop so we can get rid of some of the extremists marauding around in this country. Let the Islamic State take their own rubbish in.....

It's surely the "Christian" thing to do? To help our share of those being displaced?

I'm interested in this marauding around the Country. What exactly does that entail?

It is the 'Christian' thing to do, yes. But are we the only 'Christian' country in Europe?

Marauding..... Mmm, I see your point there Heath. Thankfully quite a few are now marauding under the ISIS bog roll on a standard.....

Plenty more 'fifth columnists' here though I'm sure, may not be marauding, but certainly brain washing the weak and easily led.

How about we find a piece of land that's occupied by someone else and give it to them? Then we could provide them with endless military support so that they could secure their new land.

I am talking about taking our share, not all. Germany and France have already indicated refugees are welcome, so I would assume we will do the same. I was just wondering if it makes any difference that they are Christians, not Muslims.

Many other European Countries have also had success working with extremists, not punishing them. By using close family and therapy they have stopped quite a large percentage of young Muslims from their fundamentalist path. After all, they have been brainwashed and influenced by evil men. They deserve a chance to make amends.

You might be onto something there.

Hundreds of Yazidi minority women taken captive by ISIS in Iraq

Kamil Amin, a spokesman from Iraq’s Human Rights Ministry, says hundreds of women from the Yazidi religious minority have been taken captive. He said that the women are under 35 years old and are being held at a school in Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city, which is now under IS control.

The ministry learned of the situation from the victims' families, AP reports.

It comes after the US carried out limited airstrikes against Islamic State (IS) artillery, which had been targeting the Kurdish capital Erbil. An end date for the strikes has not yet been established, the White House said in statement on Friday.

Leader: ISIS is ‘Systematically Beheading Children' in 'Christian Genocide'

"You're startling me with the severity of what you're describing," the CNN host said. "You said they are --- beheading children?"

"They are systematically beheading children," Arabo repeated slowly. "And mothers and fathers. The world hasn't seen an evil like this for generations."

"There's actually a park in Mosul where they actually beheaded children and put their heads on a stick... this is crimes against humanity. They are doing the most horrendous, the most heart-breaking crimes that you can think of."

Sunday Times - No dancing: militants target street festivals

EXTREMISTS are enforcing an Isis-style interpretation of Islamic law on the streets of Britain by trying to ban people from listening to music, dancing and mixing with the opposite sex.

The militants — including some with links to the hate preacher Anjem Choudary — have sought to bully and intimidate British Muslims, telling them that such activities equate to devil-worship.

In Birmingham, hardliners waving a “No music” banner and chanting “God is great”

If this is happening in the UK with just 4% of the UK population being Muslim, what happens in 10-20 years time if this % creeps up to 8%+? And we have to question the use of the word militants because again with just 4% muslim population there seems to be a lot of them. Birmingham Mail online, last night has two separate stories about local lads in Bham going off to fight with rebels. Crazy!

Report them to the Police - they will deal with it. Two Christian anti-abortion protesters were recently arrested for harassment, alarm or distress under the Public Order Act 1986 for similar unlawful protests. This covers this as well.

It's not just a Muslim problem, it's a public order matter, so don't build it up into something it isn't.

Funny, didn't we just have a news story posted - we did I did it - by a bloke who set up an English only joke but then resigned complaining it had been taken over by extremists doing Mosque raids which defeated the purpose.

The same group patrolling the streets handing out Bibles.

Then again in your quest for anti Moslem stories I'm assuming you missed the very line you quoted.

Haven't you just proved what we were all saying.....#gotcha

Kind of makes Heath right again doesn't it.
