All and any news on how our lads get on in the pick up an injury break in here please.

Aguero hasn't travelled to Argentina, think he might have injured his elbow.

Pablo Zabaleta: "Kun (Aguero) didn't travel with me because of physical discomfort." [@RoyNemer]

Claudio Bravo has been removed from Chile's squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers for 'personal reasons'. @City_Watch

We need to get Zaba out of the club, if he's interfering with players :047:

Haha, didn't read it that way myself but Zaba's left himself open to inyourendos there.

On a serious note, do we know what his injury is? He didn't appear to be in difficulty when he was subbed yesterday. There was talk of him hanging up his International boots. Could this be a compromise i.e not playing friendlies?

This makes a change. One of our players getting injured even BEFORE the international break :060:

Does Kun appear to get a bit petulant when things are not going well for him on the field, anyone?
Not that I don't think he is great...

We all know its coming as soon as the Premier League begins - the dreaded September international break :017: I still can't get my head round it and still hate the idea of sending players off to play for their countries all around the world. BAH!!

He does have a petulant streak, thankfully he keeps it under control for the most part.

Another City player on the score sheet with 2 goals - this time it is new signing Gabriel Jesus marking the award of the coveted Brazil No9 shirt with two goals vs Ecuador.... :001:

Interesting to see Silva nominated as the penalty taker for Spain. Slotted it home with aplomb :005:

That brace takes Silva's total to 26 goals for Spain making him joint 6th with Butragueno on Spain's all time top scorer list.

Jesus' two goals were sweet, particularly the second, what a strike, won the penalty that gave them the lead too, that is some international debut for the lad.

David Silva's at it again for Spain :026:
