International Break

After the saturated fixture list of Championship matches we have another two week break for the Internationals before it starts all over again with ten matches to play by the end of December.
Two of our key defenders are out with hamstring injuries and it is not known yet how severe the injuries are. A grade 1 minor muscle pull or strain may take from a few days to a few weeks to heal, a Grade 2 partial muscle tear - several weeks, a Grade 3 complete tear - months.
Wales are back in town after a gap of seven years. They last played at the Liberty in 2013 when they beat Austria 2-0. This time it’s USA on Thursday night (12 Nov 19:45) in a friendly. Ironically after such a long wait our fans will be unable to attend.
With speculation that fans will not be able to attend matches until next season, spare a thought for the fans of the three Championship teams that gained promotion to the PL. It’s a real possibility that they could get relegated after one season and that their fans will have missed watching their team live in the Premier League, especially frustrating for Leeds fans who’s club were last in the top division 16 years ago.

The break is needed after so many midweek games and the busy schedule, I just hope we can get a win after we return as we usually don't do well after a fortnight off for whatever reason!
