The Fear

A Wise Man (once sat next to him)
Interesting albeit not surprising.

Thing is, it's worked massively for them.

Absolutely amazing..... they should go the same way as The News Of The World.

But the NOTW went..........oh yeah I get you now :15: :19: :15:

Everything is money driven these days, no one does anything for the love of it any more. Just look at their columnists, Jamie Carragher, Jamie Redknapp, Graham Poll and Martin Keown, all there to add clicks to the site. They even employ a full time professional troll called Adrian Durham, people literally go their to call him a knob almost exclusively.

I do like Martin Samuel though, he does his research, talks a lot of sense and comes at you (no jokes please) from different angles. Mind you on 400k a year he should be bloody good at his job!

90 % of journalism is stolen from someone, pick up 5 papers and they'll all have the same crap written in them. The Mail has always made money from making mountains out of molehills, tis nothing new.

Think they are ok for sport, some of the sensational headlines leading to untrue stories do take the pee though. The one about protein giving cancer etc.

But they grab attention and make money = their job done.

The way the Mail operates is just vile though, never stating always asking (so as to plant a seed but not be responsible)

''Are your children being secretly filmed on their way to school by Muslim paedophiles?'' Is one such headline I wouldn't be surprised to see, and the type of scare mongering bigotry it delights at spewing forth from it's front pages, but the fact that there is a market for people who love to nod and tut along to things like that is the scary thing, they are just cashing in on a market after all.

And I know they're not the only ones, all papers are flawed by their own bias, it's just that the Mail is in a class of it's own at what it does. Being the Katie Hopkins of media.
