The Tories want to keep the poor poor (and keep themselves rich).
Labour still wants to keep the poor poor and create those high up in the Politburo as the nouveau rich.
 
Wo, proved right with one comment. Question, did you not read it or did you read it and not understand it? It is not a left versus right political article but a study published in a right wing newspaper that says people with right wing views are on the whole less intelligent than those on the left. Not really leftie piffle.

Nigel Farage didn't go to university, like Jim Callaghan. And John Major. Has Farage said anything racist, other than wanting to leave the quagmire of the EU (which incidentally a number of Labour MPs like Denis Skinner want.)

Enoch Powell with his rivers of blood speech was well educated, even becoming a full professor in Ancient Greek, yet was as Racist as they come.
 
All generalities. So older people are less tolerant to change, big deal. I don't get the UKIP and racist link. I'm not a supporter but don't see anti immigration as racist. I'm not a Tory but do believe the following.

That's true, it's like saying if you are left wing you are automatically a Stalinist (and Stalin killed more than Hitler did).
