Injury Nightmare Continues

Not a healthy report from the Engineer today. It is amazing we have achieved what we have to date but we are in the shit now if we ship any more knocks. Why do I feel a sense of injury roulette?

I think Navas being knacked is a severe blow. He has made some terrific impact sub appearances.

Mangala has done another injury in training. He's risking getting jettisoned by Josep.

Nasri. I think we have missed his experience but he is out for the count. I reckon Pep might hold on to him.

Kompany. I would rather he came back later rather than sooner to get him spot on.

Bony. Christ knows whats going on there. We did not get the injury free battling line leader we saw at Swansea. Yaya warned in France Football that he needs to change his lifestyle. He was in Portugal last week pictured having an ice bath with the Hulk.

Right now it looks a bit mental shipping out Roberts....
 
Certainly hope someone from the club has a quiet word with the Leicester City medical team in the tunnel after the game.

Perhaps we should make them an offer they can't refuse, as Leicester have had bugger all in the way of serious injuries this season.
 
Another week goes by, 2 more key players injured.

Delph and Sagna two of our most dynamic performers this season. As 5th says, Leicester, admittedly having played 8 games less than us have had a handful of injuries and apparantly a team who works closely on the issue with Ranieri.

Something is clearly wrong in this area and we can only speculate if Pellegrini incorporates injury prevention into our training? I say this because at a presser two weeks back he said he encouraged full blooded tackles in training to guide the players into not reacting and getting sent off. This is key. My impression is our team too often go missing when the bullying starts and some shirk 50-50's.

I believe injuries and the management of them threaten our season's aspirations massively now more than any other factor and looking at what we have available to us in the coming weeks it will be stunning if we realise our goals. Put simply we cannot afford more!
 
Pellegrini: "We started the season with Vincent, Silva, Toure and Aguero all of them playing in the first four games. After that, for different reasons, this is the first time they will play again together."
 
We need a big run of performances from these lads now. Its nothing far short of miraculous that we are so close to securing silverware. Fine line.
