Infantino is mad , official !

You did, he aims to kill the players - he just wants all the money.

It's time to tell him to Fcuk off.

Things evolve, whether we agree with it, or like it, or not.

Alot of people really enjoyed the minnows making waves in this tourney.

Still shook out 1-2-3-4, but you gotta admit there were some fantastic and crazy footballing moments. Ones we wouldn't have gotten without those extra teams.

Im not sure how to deal with the wear and tear issues, but it's gonna happen.

.

It will get to the point that there will not need to be any qualifying competition. You can hear the shout from the minority of one, Infantino, calling, you are all in it boys! Could this be the way forward? No qualifying groups, less wear on the players and a preliminary tournament of the World Cup for the minnows? Another grouping for the next banding of countries according to rankings. The top 32 automatically get in, 12 from the minnows, 20 from the next banding. Result most of the top players don’t play on meaningless competition to qualify!
Well that now sorted! Not!

It's the global nation based FA Cup. What's the problem?
The FA is special because you get a team of Bricklayers and Bakers having their day in the sunshine.
Anything is possible. Its unique and should remain that way.

The World Cup to my mind should be the best of the best on the global stage.
If you are not good enough - you shouldn't be there.
Instead of dropping standards down - FIFA should be investing more in the minnow countries so that standards across the board are raised.

Having Timbuktoo playing Nepal there becase it might sell a few ad spots on the networks is a nonscence.

Unless as '54 said - it bins off qualifying. Then, it might actually be a good thing.

Even so, it's woke.

And what's the point of having the qualifiers?

As I said, if its going up to 64 teams then it must just go on the world rankings based on I dont know what.
The last tournaments standings/points I guess.

Bin off qualifiers and off you go every 4 years. I wouldnt necessarily have a problem with that.
But it won't happen. Even so it's still a nonsense. It's just woke for woke's sake.

He just wants to cream off even more money from the rich and scam the poor fans - the WC has proved that. Hopefully many will come back with cost analysis as soon as it is over.

My son was charged £800 for 3 nights in downtown Denver (not a 5 star I might add) inbetween bus trips to/from Vail, and that was not even a WC host city - he was going to his mate's wedding. 1 week stay plus flights cost him £2.5k.

How long before UEFA jump on the bandwagon with the Euros , then the Nations League , then the CL and other euro comps and we end up having Premier League Break three times a season ?
