Day Two

Lunch score: India 80-4. Good bowling by England this morning, including Stokes getting Kohli out, caught by Foakes for a duck.

Update 1 - Perfect inswinger from Stokes to dismiss Rohit lbw for 49. India 121-5 .

Update 2 - Tea score :153-6 . The pitch is still looking fairly helpful to the bowlers. India have only lost a couple of wickets in the session, but with several "umpire's call not outs". Pant is proving difficult to shift (36 n.o.).

Update 3 - Close of play score : India 294 for 7. A partnership of 113 between between keeper Pant, and all-rounder Sunder, has put India in a very strong position. Pant was finally dismissed for 101, but Sunder remains unbeaten with a score of 60. Best England bowler was Anderson, with 3-40.

Day Three

Lunch score: India 365 all out (Sundar 96 n.o., A. Patel 43). Best England bowlers were Stokes with 4-89 and Anderson 3-44.
England 2nd inns. 6-0

Update 1 - England 10-2 now. Another duck for Bairstow.

Update 2 - Tea score 91-6. (Root 30) . Another England collapse in the afternoon session ! Lawrence and Foakes now batting, to try to avoid an innings defeat. :(

Day 3 continued...

England 135 all out. Ashwin 5-47, A Patel 5-48
Only Dan Lawrence showed much resistance for England and was last man out, after a good knock of 50.
India were impressive with bat and ball in this match and are also very sharp in the field too these days.
India won by an innings and 25 runs, and won the Test series 3-1.
