Lincoln City kick off their season’s home fixtures this Saturday with a fixture against Swindon Town, one of last season’s early pacesetters in League Two but who tailed off once David Flitcroft left for Mansfield Town following Steve Evans’ departure from Field Mill to London Road, Peterborough, to finish 9th in the table on 68 points, seven behind the Imps.

As I have said in the review, I wonder if we'll keep with the three-at-the-back system on Saturday or, following Luke Waterfall's departure to Shrewsbury, will Danny Cowley change the formation? He has a headache.

With Waterfall leaving and Bruno playing well it seems logical to make a simple change to 4231 with Akinde up front and Green & Bruno as the wide players. The others who started Saturday fall into place nicely.
