"Organisers of a charity football match at Lincoln City's ground want more sponsors to come forward for an event which is expected to attract a 6,000 crowd.

Ian Sievwright is organising the game at Sincil Bank Stadium on Wednesday, April 27.

His Greenbank FC squad will face a star-studded Lincoln City Legends XI chosen from a squad including current manager Chris Moyses, coach David Preece and a host of former players - plus Lincoln MP Karl McCartney."

Where the hell did they get the figure of 6,000 from??

Someone's estimate, you just have to find out there assumptions behind it their estimate.

Ben Sedgemore, Scott Kerr, Karl McCartney??? Hardy the sort to pull in thousands of punters. I would much rather see proper 'legends' like Cunningham, Cockerill, Shipley, Harford, Hobson, etc... and NO MPs, although quite how mobile they would be now would be open to question.
