News circulating around the footballing world suggests Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan's move to Manchester City is a done deal.
What do we know?
Manchester City's Director of Football, Txiki Begiristain and in-coming Blues boss Pep Guardiola had a meeting in Amsterdam's Conservatorium Hotel at the beginning of March to discuss Ilkay Gundogan's release clause, which is believed to be in the region of £23 million. Also in attendance was the 25-year-old's agent, and uncle, Ilhan. By all accounts the meeting lasted 45 minutes.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has said the club would be willing to sell midfielder Ilkay Gundogan in the summer.
Gundogan dislocated a knee cap earlier this month and will miss Germany's Euro 2016 campaign but should be ready for the new season.
