Ilkay Gündogan 2016-2017

Just recently watched an Interview with Ilkay, who says he does not score many goals, he scored 10 in 5 season with Dortmund and already has 5 in a quarter of a season with City

Pogba v Gunner, think we got the best deal and the better player. Pogba is finding the prem a bit quick at the present.

His recent arrivals in the 18 yard box have been very reminiscent of Frank Lampard at his best and that's not a bad benchmark to have. The Ghost.

Initial reports suggest 6-8 months out with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. :093:

Oh dear Lord no :013: Gosh what dreadful luck for the guy. Awful news.

(To answer your query Rising, he missed several months at the end of last season as well as the Euros having suffered a dislocated kneecap)

Gutted for the lad. He's been so enthusiastic on and off the park.

Opportunity knocks for Delph. Seriously, if he can raise his game there's a slot right there.

another player who needs to prove his fitness, but is in the same style as Ilkay and home grown an added bonus

First off this is not a tragedy, it is unfortunate but he will be back.

In the meantime it presents an opportunity for Delph or even Mr Kipling to become if not a driving force on the road then at least one in our midfield.

F25 could be shunted forward and F6 decanted in behind the midfield 4...

A youngster might be promoted?!

But my money is on Stones playing in midfield - and before anyone says that is far fetched remember that Tommy Booth wore Colin Bell's #8 shirt when the maestro got his knee injury.

I haven't looked through the entire Watford MDT, but how was the injury caused?
I did see comments that a few markers were left, was it just bad luck, or not?
City's own, and the Premier League's on Sky haven't shown it.
