I think it’s a confidence issue with him. It’s easy to forget he’s a young lad who’s moved to the other side of the world. In all seriousness he’s finding his scoring boots now in addition to his brilliant other attributes

Fronting up, lol…I don't think anyone can fairly accuse me of not fronting up
You might remember asking me if there was anything I liked about Jesus, and my answer was that there was only one thing I didn't like.
He played extremely well today, but there have been a number of games where he has played really well; for a striker there has to be goals, and last two games he has gotten those and done everything I want to see in a striker
He has won us two games on the bounce and long may that continue- particularly in the Premier League
Watch his two today- both central, rather than drifting wide into corners. He was exactly where he needed to be.
His second was wonderful. Right in front of me, looked like their defender was fouling him and pulling him back, which actually helped him time the run perfectly, and then a great shot from a bit of distance actually
Terrific stuff. Lovely to hear (and be part of) the crowd chanting for him. He walks on the Trent, don't you know?
It’s a fantastic record. My only concern is the lack of goals in the EPL but hopefully that will change as he obviously knows where the net is…
Hopefully as service to him improves, his goals output will increase. It must be galling when you feel you are making the runs but not getting the ball. His goal against Brentford was excellent and demonstrates that he has stuff we can build on. He’s a young lad and will get better. It’s a fantastic record. Hopefully. The quality of the Prem is also a lot higher than most of our Europa League opposition so it may be taking him longer to adapt.Hopefully as service to him improves, his goals output will increase.
