Vital Football Legend
A senior Plaid Cymru peer has apologised for "any offence caused" after making comparing the Trident submarine base to the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz, where over 1.1 million people were murdered.

Lord Wigley, a former party leader, made his controversial remarks the day after the world marked 70 years since the end of the Holocaust in response to reports, denied by the government, that the nuclear weapons base could be moved from Scotland to Wales.

Oh dear! Makes a change from UKIP I suppose

Plaid Cymru er little more than the Welsh version of UKIP so it's really only what we should expect.

Well, it is ott but not sure why the mock indignation from other MP's really. I'd be more outraged by the illegal war and the delay once again in the report about it. How strange it is going to be after the election now!

It was a clumsy comparison for sure, the nazi's didn't exactly advertise jobs available for that vile stain on humanity, Auschwitz, people were forced.
