Well I thinking more along the lines of; If Axel Rose hadn't had such an awful childhood which contained some Evils, would his(and other works of genius/fine art) life path still have been the same?

Ah I see

I suppose it depends on your definitions of evils. Many artists throughout history have been plagued by inner demons or in modern terms, mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, etc. without any "evils" have being inflicted upon them on necessarily.

In my opinion, even living in a Utopian world, humanity would still struggle with self-doubt, anxieties and depression because it's just human nature. And because of that, art will always be created reflecting the dark and the light.

Good question though, and one I've thought of a few times, as some of the best art/music etc seems to come from the darkest places

When I saw the title I had a different thought.

if there was no evil in the world could the world survive. Imagine all those people that have died due to wars, genocide, terrorism, and other acts of evil over the centuries.

If they never died, and went on to breed, then would the world today be just completely overcrowded and unable to cope?

If there were no evil in the world how could good exist?

If there were no evil in the world there would be no bible, no religion.

If there were no evil in the world there would be no homophobia, no racism.

Whatever would you do with yourself Greeny! :17:

I dont think there would be a world, universe as the majority of the unseen has an opposite. Good & Evil, Love & Hate, Fear & Peace, Up & down, Left & right are just some examples.

If everything run in a linear line and the world was perfect what would be the point. Majority of the world wouldn't be needed work wise, such as 3rd world, police and similar services.

If everything was good it would be boring. If everything was bad well we wouldn't know anything but anarchy. I hope I am making my point properly. To be a world we need opposites
