If City are to win anything this season what will it be?

Pep does not know the Premier, where you can go to a team in the lower reaches of the league but because it is City, it is their 'Cup Final' and play out of their skins while City think in these games all we need to do is put our kit on.

If Pep can get the consistency required that you play the game the same whether it is Chelsea or York City in the Cup.

If he can get that belief into the players then we could win something, no team will ever win the lot because the schedule is too demanding to do that.

My expectations are just for a good season, (but what do you class as a good season) and winning something is a bonus, but City fans now expect success and will Pep deliver because if he does not then the media will crucify him, as they will do when he loses his first game.

Possibly too early to say - for instance if Arsenal went out and blew £60m on a pair of world class strikers then they might suddenly be favourites for everything - Spuds have an excellent first XI and Liverpool will be stronger, Chelsea too with their new manager.

Which leaves the rags...

(Sorry Leicester, but you know how it is. Well, you don't, at least not yet but you will do).

I agree with Mr 'tache. It's too early to say, as there are still too many rumours about potential in/out goings. Plus we don't know how quickly/if Pep will settle in or if the players can cope with him.

I will be happy this season if Pep can get a team together that looks like it wants to win every game (and i mean every player) i think we will win a cup.

Is a 'Cup' the same as a 'Trophy'?

On the balance of probabilities with a green to the UK head coach I don't expect to win anything this coming season. However the pressure will be on big time the season after to win a trophy. Yet, if the special one should manage to fluke some silverware expect problems from all sides this season. We all live in interesting times, no. Bring on the new season, never mind this Euro crap. I would rather watch Andy.

Win , or second in PL , quarters in CL.

Don't think we will either cup , as Pep will play the kids to see which will get more game time in his second season.

Has he sacrificed cup competitions to blood youngsters in his previous management jobs?
Copa del Rey won twice
DFB-Pokal won twice

Don't think he has, but I think the City job is different from the others
