Can we send some to Stoke please.

Homeless people may face a £1,000 fine if they are found sleeping in tents under new plans to ban rough sleepers.

So they are going to provide them all with accommodation then and end the homeless problem?

Then I decided to read the article and I came accross this:

''The public space protection order would ban''

The use of a public toilet other than to use the facilities for the reasons for which they were intended

:158: :158: :158: I have words for this that are going round in my head something like ''but isn't everything banned and illegal anyway if your not using the toilet for the reasons you use a toilet, so why are they re-banning it?''

I'd assume that if they can't pay the £1000 fine, they will be sent to prison.

Which will cost a lot more than the £1000 fine. Pure common sense would say that we'd be better off paying for a cheapp B&B for the poor sods for a month (that would cost just over £1000) and give them a chance to get their shit together but common sense rarely influences the decisions of those with the high and mighty attitude.

Even if they sold their tent, they wouldn't be able to raise £1,000.

Crazy!

Good to see society trying to help in a constructive way once again.

Jeez!

Ban tents, fine and dandy. FIND THEM A ******NG BUILDING TO SLEEP IN.
