Huddersfield Town AFC vs. Tottenham Hotspur

I have to admit I am completely focussed on the Premier League this year. The Champions League is a nice distraction and I would like to see us do very well there but it isn't a priority.

I would like to see us consolidate our place in the elite of the Premier League and begin to wear down the non-believers.

So....this game is a must win for me.

3-0 Spurs. Or more.

Won't be easy...they are hard to crack at the back...only the two 'mancs' have let in fewer goals than HUDDERSFIELD...and that is no fluke. and two of those came against West Sham and the first was a complete fluke deflection for the shammers

Cannot see us putting three past them, but of course hope we do;......... they are set up nicely, they move the ball around and they will have their chances..... I would be happy to see us win with a last second deflection of the refs backside.... But I don't for one minute expect it to be easy, and hope that the players don't think it will be either, cos then they will start pedestrian and only try to up the tempo if we go behind (not an impossibility) or the last 15 mins if we are not winning

I think most now realise that there are no easy games in the PL anymore.

Suspect we'll still be missing Eriksen, but with Verts and Alli back and with Harry in the form he is, we should win this - and win it well.

Shitsokko deserves a rest don't you think...he looked exhausted when he went off in Cyprus...those three runs, two tackles, 4 controlled passes (one telling one to harry) and 13 uncontrolled passes were too much effort. :19:

If we do not have Eriksen it will be interesting to see how creative we can be. It has always been a problem for us in the past and Huddersfield seem well organised so we are unlikely to have the simple opportunities that we had from APOEL except maybe the last one. Poch has to start with a high tempo to try to force gaps but I suspect we will see more of the sit back and wait approach.

I think Eriksen is training so must have shaken off whatever it was.

yet another side that's going to park the bus, the first Xi and their family's between the posts...

David Wagner says he plans to nullify the threat of Harry Kane by pulling Tottenham Hotspur down to Huddersfield Town's level on Saturday.

Kane has 19 goals in his last nine away matches for club and country, but Wagner, the Huddersfield manager, believes the right collective approach can make the promoted side greater than the sum of their parts.

"One aim we have is to make sure we pull them down to our level on Saturday and then hopefully we can neutralise their offence as good as we can," Wagner told Hudderfield Town's official website.

"This is exactly the challenge you like to have; this is why we celebrated at the end of May in Wembley, because we had these games in front of us – and now it’s a reality."

Is this the dawning of the era of Sissoko!

It looks like there is only one position with a question mark....Sissoko or Winks. Not easy, Winks has more guile which might be needed to open them up . Tripps will probably get the nod but KWP needs to play .

I'd like us to have a crack at that, even if Huddersfield thought it was a bum deal. They'd just have to put it behind them.
