Oh my god this is my dream come true. A site he runs that dredges up old VS threads as if he is a defendant in a court case. The guy is a loon! This has made my day!
 
LOL thank you so much that is soooooo funny. This is some funny shit. This is where Richmond is heading with Lamela. People get too caught up in it, this is the ultimate OCD.
 
HAHAHA, to be fair, some of the stuff he said has come true. We now have those 3 big strong lads in the middle and we've never looked so strong.

With the new posters like baldy, stay, highgate and now richs OCD about lamlea, old gibbsy wouldn't be out of place back on vital.
 
Nah I have to say Gibbo redefined internet nutter. He took it to strange self-obsessed new places. He was like the Troll Mozart. Next level shit.

Aha this is brilliant. I admire his ego. He has gone out of his way to start his own website just to prove people wrong on certain subjects. That is fecking genius IMO. Seriously insane and crazy still. lol

There was the Spice Boys and the Tiny Dancers. Funnily, everything he said about the physicality and mentality of the side has been proven right!

Yeah i tended to agree with him with that but argued the case for a Modric or a Silva type as well & was taken down mercilessly lol.
 
He was going to be proven right eventually. Tiny dancers was great. I never had a problem with him but used to say he was wrong about lennon. I think people had a problem with the phrase "gotta trust old gibbsy" even on other forums that was the one thing that had everyone frothing as gibbs put it lol.
 
The thing I always had a problem was the constant repetition of the same thing over and over again. A thread could be about anything other than tiny dancers or spice boys yet it always evolved into it. Its what ruined it for many users of the site. If you rewind back to then, the site was busy with a lot more members online all the time. The gibbsy takeover was what killed this place.
 
I dunno Dave, most people just can't find the time to tune in. During the hols i'll check in from time to time but over the course of the year i'd probably give it a miss.

Each to there own. If someone has firm beliefs who and and how we should be playing then so be it. I'm not going to cry abut it dn ban or ignore people.
 
There seems to be a few who try to insult/name calling to bully them out - you must be aware of it surely, being on here so long ?
