How wrong was I

My thoughts exactly I was all for giving him benefit of the doubt but after that shambles & listening to his pathetic TV post match interview, there’s no Way back for him from that

I had only seen the Betis game, the rest were on Television.
I couldn’t make Sunderland ‘cos reason so last night was my first real sight of his setup, in-game management, shape, etc.
All were terrible.

I can’t find one positive.

Give it Andy Reid.

When it was obvious Nuno was going, at no point did I really want Ange; I just went against the general opinion on here for the reaction (cheers Redchops :grinning:) . Having said that, when a manager has been appointed, I think we should all get behind him and give him time. I can also see some positives, but as others have pointed out, the negatives are outweighing them.

Yesterday, I was still of the opinion that he should be given time, but after last night and the fans' reaction, it's tough to argue that case anymore. I've never heard "sacked in the morning" sung to their own manager before.

The weird thing is the application from the players seems to be there

They look like they want to play for him

Its not energy or appetite to compete that seems to be missing

With most managers fans sense they have lost the dressing room and then turn on the manager

Here its the opposite with players hearing the manager has severely lost the fans

Organisation, structure, a proper game plan seems to be what's missing.

I was prepared to give him time as the change in style is an evolution.
But he has to go.

Sack the twat.
Trying to work out if this is sarcasm?

I've always tries to give the benefit of the doubt and I still genuinely want Ange to turn the results around BUT I just can't get past the defensive capitulation, indiscipline & poor management.

I really do feel sorry for Ange.

Bizarrely, I do see positives but that wasn't a small minority chanting - for the record, I didn't get involved and wouldn't sing for Nuno, as I believe he is partly to blame.

My biggest worry was always the defence, having to score 2-3 to even get a point is not a recipe for success.

Yes - we are creating chances, but we cannot defend and Ange cannot & did not make the changes to impact the game, when players were visibly flagging.

PS - special mention for the corrupt, inept officiating - next level!

The sacked in the morning defonitely wasnt a small minority

The Nuno chant after wasnt as loud but still plenty were chanting it

What i noticed more than ever were the constant sarcastic comments about the game from start to finish all around me from grandkids to grandparents in relation to ange not knowing what he was doing

This is the other thing thats different about the chants last night

It normally starts slower than this and gradually with a small pockey of fans starting a chant of some kind and then over a course off weeks develops

This was just a stadium en masse instantly in unison

I think it just feels like it was wrong from the start. Wrong from the very premise of the appointment

The fact that even OKD is saying that he is worried by what he has seen is telling. If he says he is worried then fucking ell

It feels like the SOD sacking & appointing McLeish, from a club perspective.

From a managerial scenario, I'd be checking with UEFA to see if Ange actually has coaching licences?

As I said, I do feel for Ange - timing, 4 away games, injuries etc - but, you can't keep making excuses for the goals we are conceding.

Mat Selz has gone from golden gloves to ripped fishnets & we are an easy team to beat, due to the poor marking from set pieces, giving the ball away & positional indiscipline... teams just have to wait for us to fcuk up - knowing we will.

I'm even more worried about the Newcastle game.

24 hours ago I was on team give him time. Now, I feel like every further match we give him is a slide deeper into catastrophe - I genuinely cannot see a fixture that we can win while he is at the helm. My greatest fear is that Marinakis’ arrogance won’t allow him to admit the error until it’s too late. We need to sack him today, not in 2 months time.

Currently I'm on the side of Ange. That could change if he starts blaming the previous 14 years of the clubs management.

Think we need a poll. Which is the biggest current shit show. Forest under Ange or Great Britain under Labour.

Forest under Ange.

All politicians lie & they're all in it for themselves, Labour the latest to prove they couldn't run a p155 up in a brewery - BUT - I do think they could get Forest to defend better.

You've probably not been going long enough - definitely happened under Megson & I think under Hughton too.

Ange has won a lot in the game and I personally was really happy with him being here, but I can see it’s not working and isn’t going to.

Because 99% of our fanbase can’t stand him, and didn’t want him, he needed to hit the ground running and get some wins to even begin to turn the fans around. But the opposite has happened.

After watching that match last night, and seeing the reaction of the fans ? He should just resign now for his own good. Even if he won the next 3 in a row, the fans would be just waiting for the next defeat so they could start abusing him again.

It’s not working, they’re not having him, it’s over.
