it's actually (dare I say it) almost room temperature, a very mild 16-18 degrees. Geology rather spectacular. Horse riding today, thermal springs tomorrow. Back sat'day just in time for kick off.

This is really meant for jackdaw in his recovery mode.. We have a son and a few friends who are well covered for cash so we never know what to get them for Xmas. This time we settled on dinner vouchers at our local very good Italian restaurant. In return we found that we had received a number of vouchers at the very same venue. I couldn't make my mind up whether our friends thought we were rich or whether we needed a good feed.

Main thing is though jackdaw, forget battered sausage and associated crap and try good Italian tucker for a while. I can vouch for the results.
