How long should Brucey's next contract be?

Stick to the current one, which is 1 year rolling. All contracts these days seem to have a 1-year compensation if fired clause anyway, so not much point in changing.
 
Get us promoted then get rid . His record shows he is good at getting teams up but struggles to keep them up.

Lets face it the 'mass hysteria' and falling gates forced his hand in re-asssessing his options, and dropping the dire ultra defensive shite he planned to get us promoted with/bore us to death with.

I am happy to be onside as that shite scared anti-football has no place at the Villa, and we let him know that in no uncertain terms...... it's good to talk :14:

Promotion all but nailed on??? The reason I'm cautious is that twice before, after being dissapointed with him, I've come round to accept him when things looked up, only for that to be dashed by another poor spell, largely triggered by poor decisions and tactics. Reckon we should be firmly top 6 and looking at top 2 by the end of December. If not think change would still be a good idea.

If we get promoted, then I think we need to already have a team with the tactics, confidence and style to survive without too much grief in the PL. I fear with Bruce he would retreat into defensive mode, which would see us going back down, but I also fear we won't have a team ready for the PL.
