Ex-England international Eniola Aluko has apologised after posting a series of tweets appearing to criticise people placed on the government's furlough scheme amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Aston Villa Women's sporting director said it created a "do-nothing" mentality and "culture of entitlement".

Although when you see Jack is still club captain, maybe the moral bar isn't very high.

Fucking idiot - the country has been in a lockdown, businesses have closed - jobs have been lost.

I'm not sure many feel entitled being on 80% of their normal earnings, or having to take out loans because a scheme hasn't caught them. Nor waited 5 weeks for a payment from Universal Credit.
 
Think she likes to be controversial. She obviously doesn't understand there is controversial and there is stupid.

Sick to death of big mouthed oafs who think they are famous and can espouse this crap.

As you say Hifried, she didn't really apologise, and deleting a tweet does not delete the damage caused.

Yet another putting our great clubs name up for the wrong sorts of headlines. About time something was done about these sorts of fools.
 
She's a gold medallist in the Victim Olympics so I'm absolutely shocked that she feels the need to lambaste others who are currently in a difficult situation.

Just goes to show that some people who like to play the victim card are only doing it to advance their own personal interests.
 
I’ve said before on here that I used to go to school with her and play football with her, she’s a sound girl and was very good at football but these comments are just stupid and I agree, I hope the club get rid. I’m telling you now I’d much rather be at work, socialising, have holidays/trips and Villa games to look forward to. The last real social contact I had was the day I left work.

These comments would only come from someone very very unintelligent or from someone with the personality of Katie Hopkins.
If she is indeed a lawyer then I imagine she has some brains so much be the latter.
She needs to be removed from our club. And now.
 
As you say, a Katie Hopkins type of warped mind. Also, in a cowardly way, after offending so many, she's set her account to private. Pathetic. Deleting something doesn't mean it isn't your opinion either.

Not sure if she is vile or just plain thick. Tweeted something she heard/read without any further thought.

Stupid, stupid woman and as I mentioned, as she played for Small Heath, she has no place in our club!!
