'He's top of the league'

Just as I wrote that ^
an arrest has been made. Hardly an ignorant kid, either.

Let's hope they can make any charges stick.

Odds on the offender being either a rag or disgruntled Liverpool 'fan'?

Fabulous article in todays Times re Stirling under the heading 'Superb Sterling Must Be Respected, Not Persecuted'.

It begins 'Raheem Stirling is the most important sports person in the country...' and closes with 'Sterling's good. He's Englands' best. He deserves respect'.

Quality journalism and good to see his form this season getting the appreciation it deserves.

Convicted football hooligan jailed for attack on Raheem.

Not long enough, considering his appalling past.

The scum is a rag fan, surprise surprise.

Actually not a surprise at all. Hope he enjoyed the rags getting dumped out of the cup last night.

Another good read on Sterling from probably my favourite UK journalist, I don't always agree with what he says but I love the way he writes.

A good read indeed. About time someone attempted to redress the balance (still a long way that go though)

Thanks for posting :026:

Barney does have a way with words and if Raheem wants to buy his mum a house I say good on him!
