A Leeds fan who travels with us on the Thames Valley Whites supporters club is set to finish a 350 mile challenge today using a hand pedalled bike after losing both his legs in a IED explosion in Afghanistan in 2010.

He is one of around 30 ex-soldiers who are taking on the challenge having been injured in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Unbelievably, despite being on deaths door for months following the explosion, he travelled with us almost a year to the day of the explosion to watch the first home game of the season.

A true inspiration to us all and good luck to him today when they are due to finish at Horse Guards Parade London at around 2pm.

He has promised me an article and photos for Vital Leeds when it is all complete.

These are two articles I have done on Vital Leeds regarding the challenge and you can read his thoughts.
