If a coach cannot see that Louis Thompson had had enough after 58 minutes and was desperate to come off, then there is absolutely no hope for us. The reason Leeds are so much better now is that they have gained a coach who knows how to mobilise a team of players who struggled last season. I am not saying we will get a coach any better than we have but it is futile to stay with this one and need to bite the bullet and change sooner rather than later.

He looked clueless , static and passionless . I was prepared to give him until Christmas but the guy looks way out his depth .

Agree with DG. The problem is , and always has been way above the person who is appointed manager/head coach . If for no other reason than them having no money. You don't survive at top level football in the 21st century without rich owners. Sacking DF will not do any good, with or without him we will finish this year in the championship. My patience has its limits and its getting smaller by the week, but before this game I was for him remaining for now so I won't let a game against top of the table Leeds swing me. But we just have to be better than that. Simple

I would go with the Cowley brothers. But if he was to go I think Webber will just go for another unknown foreign coach as they are happier to work under this style (director of football). I don't agree with bucks and gurtler on the point if we have changed the whole style if football and philosophy and to get rid now would mean having to go through another big change. A decent manager could come in and easily change the style and philosophy without much hassle as the players don't seem that keen now. It's not fing ticket science. Leeds showed us how to pass and move and then score. Quick 1-2s and triangles and then pass to forward bang goal. We go side to side then backwards then sideways. At one point today pukki was through with hernandez, leitner and Rhodes to the sides and three Leeds defenders he then stopped held the ball up and passed to Lewis on the side by that time it was too late. It's terrible football. Hucks said that DF wouldn't have chosen to have this squad but it's Webber and the board who have given him this to work with and what other managers will want to come and work with around 15 lower than average Germans/foreign lads and with hardly any money to improve it.

Why is it that we all can see we need a few more players in and other clubs are going out and getting good loans but we are still doing fuck all. Go get a good young gk on loan, go get a good young forward too. Or how about getting those youngster in you keep saying you'll use....Spyrou or idah.

Good post Bears
As you say it’s not rocket science and no need to rock the boat
Remove the man quietly with no fuss and replace with a coach of different philosophy
I wouldn’t be entirely against the German route again if we could unearth a Juergen Klopp

Bears and Suffolk.
He does need to go but how many managerial assistants etc are there to remove. It has to be now as Christmas is way too late as a new manager appointed now would actually have a chance to have a go at top 6.
Are the current payers good enough ? That remains to be seen if played in correct positions with better tactics and inspired by a good manager.

That may arrest the slide but new finance is required before even thinking about being anywhere near top 3 / 4.

Just read those replies . It looks like more and more fans are now smelling the coffee and realising at last where the REAL problems lie ....in Owners and a Board who in their entirety are singularly lacking in a crumb of passion , hunger, determination , fight and desire to drive our club forwards . As one poster to that article so admirably said ‘ They have sold the best China tea plates for kiddies party paper plates ‘

With these Owners and Board we are going nowhere but on a slow and agonising decline , which only the admirers of the Owners and Board cannot see happening , or believe will happen

So whilst we concede 11 goals in 5 league games, DF has loaned out CB Raggett to Rotherham who helps keep a clean sheet and scores today to beat Millwall and take them above us in the table !!

This board always wait too long and too late. Only really Grant and Adams who had the balls to step away.

It is also the same that we concede 11 goals probably 3/4 the new GK fault and yet we seem to have forgotten that there is a loan window but in DF's words 'we are still awake' I think we are asleep. Probably all the money is gone and can't afford any loans (even though I am sure we made a profit).

Great line from Bob Hoskins and ' Long Good Friday '.
