That's 249 points in 129 games!
An amazing 1.93 points per game.
I think the Cowleys will be disappointed it isn't 2.0 or more.
To reach that figure, Notty me old pal, we'd need to win all 9 remaining games.
9 x 3 is 27
27 + 249 is 276
276 /138 (games in three seasons) is 2
Better than you (sic) English. You maths is exemplary. However, there's always next season to get that average up as well.
Think that might be a stiff task. I'd settle for 12-14th next season, in league 1 of course. You maths is exemplary. However, there's always next season to get that average up as well.

78/79. Important to get that right. With 77/78 goals scored?
I was thinking about that the other day. Fans of teams relegated from L1 last season (Bury, Oldham, MKD, Northampton) all have a tendency to say what an awful standard L2 is, yet last season's L2 runners-up Luton are about to go straight through to the Championship as L1 champions. Oldham and Northampton have hardly set L2 alight, and MKD have struggled at times with a squad full of Championship players.I was at the Donny-Barnsley game last night and if that is the standard of the top six then I fully expect us to be challenging for promotion as I thought both teams were very average.
