The news about an alleged assault in the tunnel after the game at Oakwell on Saturday has taken a new twist.

Police arrested, and then bailed a man, yesterday on suspicion of "a racially aggravated public order offence and racially aggravated assault."

This could become quite messy.

South Yorkshire Police appealed for any witness with footage of the incident to come forward, saying in a statement: "We would ask members of the media and the public to refrain from speculation in relation to this incident, as it could potentially harm the investigation.
