And, as in so many things, Mr Fear is absolutely correct!
I thought that I'd also repeat something I posted on Facebook earlier about the Irish flag.

"And as those of us in Ireland (and in many other places too) are going to see many Irish tricolours today, it's good to remember that its colours symbolise the old Gaelic tradition (green) whilst the orange represents those who support Prince William of Orange. The white in the middle is the hope for peace between both."
