I will make this comment now and probably get laughed at but we are(were) 200/1 for promotion on 888. Not a bad bet with 3 relatively easty games coming up if we can maintain our away form at home. Scrape ito top 6 and we could have a chance.

A second happy clapper award this week from Bearsuit (Post 224 Latics v Burton thread) this guy believes that Maloney should be given another 12 months before he is judged, just when you think you've heard it all he repeated the same thing again on the Liquid v Gas thread post 101.

I'm not particularly enamored with Maloney or the football the plays, and I tend to agree he is naively, complicating things in a league that calls for more grit. BUT, I do like that he backs himself to do it, and I don't think he can reasonably be judged before the end of the season - and possibly not before midway next season.

Then this.

As I said in another thread, given the circumstances, I don't think it is remotely fair to judge his credentials before the end of the season, and possibly not even before halfway through next season. That said, the jury is definitely out.

It also looks like HCA isn't a weekly thing, it's whenever Franky decides it should be awarded......surely diluting the prestige of this highly coveted & sought after award 🤔
 
This weeks happy clapper award goes to Roy Race (Post 121) Boiled Ham thread, Roy seems happy enough for Tinkerbell to play like we did first half on Saturday and is still kissing Maloneys arse.
He fails to realise if we had played like we did in the second half for 90 minutes we would have beaten Fulhams second string, time for a rethink pal for you and the manager.

Disgrace my arse. If we'd tried to go toe to toe with them first half we'd have had our arses spanked and been 3 or 4 nil down. You have to sit it, keep it tight and then when the game gets stretched and opens up 2nd half you go for it. Simple tactics, can't be gung ho against prem teams for 90 mins they wear you down and make you chase the ball.

No, not the "h" (which I think we all agree would be quite appropriate) but the other "t". It was there previously ... plus of course, the " 's "

Bit careless of you Frankie boy. You were given a replacement, but can't even accurately select the right one from 3 bloody badges !!!

Mr B ... let me educate you. (Some bugger has to try !).

1. Springy gave you your first badge in post #42 ... it said "Bullit's"
2. Then, in post #57, the badge had been changed to "Bullitt". (Note the 2 tees, but no apostrophe)
3. In post #59, I pointed out that your award had your own name on it.
4. In post #63, you asked Springy to put an apostrophe in it.
5. In post #64, Springy said "job done" ... so I presume he'd sent you one saying "Bullitt's" ... ie with two tees and an apostrophe.

So, you now have 3 to choose from:
- Bullit's
- Bullitt
and
- Bullitt's
... yet, somehow, you've been managing to select the wrong un (hardly surprising) week after week.
