Rod Stewart has had a good run with his Music and the wimmin, dirty lucky bleeder! Small Faces were arf decent, as a 16 year old apprentice they called into the garage where I worked and us young lads gathered round. Don,t know about Small Faces, they were off their f..kin faces. Offering PurpleHearts at a cut down price, dint bother myself, I preferred Guinness cos as the adverts used to say it makes you strong and not fukkin loopy!

Should have packed up after the Faces, poor mans Small Faces. Liked him in Shotgun Express.
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Faces were miles better than than the Small Faces but i did like them but The FACES were and still are my favrit group. The career SIR ROD has had and is still havin tells me your wrong Mahatma but as always each to their own Mi owd pal.UTB

Music I guess is a matter of taste depending on your teenage years and the 60s being my era I still have a soft spot for the toons of that time including black and soul music, Radio Caroline was a must listen and Radio Luxemburg had my lugs stuck to the old transister Sunday 11pm top 20. As a young Para in the 60s we,d lob out of the aircraft toTiny Tims, "Tiptoe Thru The Tulips" a real piss take! Near the end of my career the younger lads preffered ACDC blasting out "Thunderstruck" but by then the battering on my lugs due to service were almost f..ked so hummed TiptoeThru The Tulips to myself. "Green On On GO!! Thank f,,k for that!

Wrong, Steve Marriott miles better front man. Liked some of Rod's stuff like "Good morning little schoolgirl". Still Rodders as you say all to do with taste, not many people get on with The Fugs or MC5.
