Thanks to everyone for all the good wishes on my xxth birthday yesterday. I had a very nice day, very quiet and not too much excitement which was different than last year when I spent it as a guest of Tallaght Hospital.
The attached photo was taken around then and that glow is not on account of having spent a month in Malaga but rather because I had obstructive jaundice!
So I've been counting my blessings not least those of having a very special family, many wonderful friends and acquaintances, and, right now, good health.
