As I look back on villa manager appointments in my lifetime..of which there have been far too many, the appointment of BFR and MON probably excited me the most. Ron didn’t let us down, some great signings, some superb football, some great one liners, some great memories.....unfortunately the other twat, after a promising first 18months, let us down big time walking out of the club when he did. Loved Big Ron and was gutted when he was sacked, even though we were struggling at the time. ’Big Fat Ron’s claret n blue army’......a great chant for a great manager.
