We take on Watford at Vicarage Road on New Year’s Day, kick off 1:30pm and so if you want to play-along all you have to do is guess the attendance to have the opportunity to win the game.

For the purposes of this competition the capacity is 21,577.

I normally have a prize for the winner but like many of us during the holiday period, I've spent a fortune and so the kitty has temporarily run out of dosh. On this occasion you're playing for glory!

The last couple of competitions have received around 15 entries. Any chance of a few more?

Rules

• You must leave your guess in the comments section directly below this article, or via the forum thread.

• Only one guess per username will be accepted.

• The person who accurately guesses the attendance (I'll take the figure from the official Watford FC website) will win.

• If no one guesses the exact figure the person who is the closest wins.

• If there is a dispute / appeal then the VS editor will assess the complaint and make a final decision.
